About me
I have worked in B2B and B2C product design for more than seven years, including on products at VK, Ozon, and Devino Telecom.
What interests me most is developing solutions over time: understanding the problem, trying new approaches, and improving the product based on research and what we learn after launch.
My strengths
Taking features from idea to impact
I help define the problem, design a solution, and bring it to launch. I take part in discussions about metrics and outcomes so I can understand what worked and what needs improvement.
Aligning the team
I work closely with product managers and developers. I discuss constraints, explain design decisions, and help balance user needs, business goals, and development capacity.
Validating solutions and protecting quality
I formulate hypotheses, conduct UX research, and apply the findings to product work. I support implementation and review the design before launch and in production.
Building a systematic design practice
I create and evolve guidelines and component libraries. I have led a team of two designers, organizing their work and processes and overseeing the tools used across the domain.
Outside work
I love traveling and staying active: I snowboard, especially freeride, dive, and work out at the gym. I also enjoy board games and video games.
Experience
- Developed product hypotheses with a product manager and business analyst as part of a team of two designers and one product manager.
- Designed interfaces, prototypes, and user journeys for the mobile and desktop web versions of the product.
- Prepared documentation and designs for A/B experiments. Presented new feature concepts to the product owner and explained their expected impact on metrics the team committed to achieving.
- Rebuilt the project’s design library on the Paradigma corporate design system, adapting around 70% of its components to the product. Designed a dark theme and a system of color tokens. More than 15,000 users, approximately 1% of DAU, enabled the theme on its first day after launch.
- Led a complete redesign and relaunch of the portal. Responded quickly to feedback from the core audience during launch, designing a compact post view and a feed-format switcher. This helped ease negative reactions, stabilize engagement, and ultimately return metrics to pre-launch levels.
- Designed UX/UI changes to increase engagement: placing a Follow button next to the username increased the share of users following profiles by 101%; a banner on post pages increased visits to the section by 13.7% and conversion to following Spaces, the product’s categories, by 167%, against a 50% forecast.
- Integrated related products, including VK Video, Zen, and Lady Mail, to increase their views. Designed new blocks for post pages, specified their behavior for frontend development, and planned the placement of content in the results feed.
- Introduced advertising formats while balancing UX and monetization. Designed native placements within the post feed and adapted the interface for standard banner formats.
- Established design processes from scratch: introduced regular meetings and design and implementation reviews, and organized transparent task tracking in Jira.
- Worked with key product metrics including MAU of 31.7 million, DAU of 1.5 million, AdRev, view depth, Engagement Rate, and SEO traffic. Requested data exports independently and analyzed experiment results with a business analyst to understand how interface changes affected user behavior.
- Organized the team’s work and processes.
- Maintained, developed, and introduced new processes.
- Distributed work and forecast team capacity.
- Provided feedback.
- Mentored and coached designers.
- Reviewed designers’ work.
- Coordinated redesign processes.
- Maintained and developed two products.
- Led design work within the advertising platform domain.
- Integrated a promotion tool into the mobile app.
- Conducted and participated in research.
- Proposed improvements to team processes.
- Maintained existing solutions and designed new features for promotion tools.
- Designed a component library, documented it for development, and reviewed implemented components.
- Reviewed implemented functionality.
- Worked within established processes.
- Built prototypes for research.
Designed, maintained, and developed two company products: Devino.Online and Devino.Chat.
I created Devino.Chat from the ground up. The project gave me extensive experience in interface design, prototyping, and validating hypotheses through usability testing. The work focused primarily on desktop, with mobile development through an SDK starting later.
For Devino.Online, I introduced new components, changed the campaign creation process, designed a new statistics section and an OMNI builder, redesigned the segment builder, and added A/B testing to email campaigns.
